Hey, Is it not the right time to Sell?
Market is scaling a new peak every passing day and moment. Experts are unanimously bullish in their outlook. Sectors that are predicted as sluggish very recently are now (re?)rated as very good.
Expectations of further monetary easing drove the S&P 500 to a four-month high, above a key technical level -- a possible sign of more gains ahead. Gold hit an all-time high on speculation the Fed may announce on Tuesday a move toward further monetary easing, which added fuel to the precious metal's drive higher. Prices of long-dated U.S. Treasuries climbed before the Fed's monetary policy meeting on Tuesday when policymakers could hint on the conditions for future purchases of government debt.
Do you really believe above story. When everybody turn to “Buy” mode, you have to “Sell” to remain truly profitable. I am not advising you to sell outright. But to tighten your trailing stop loss levels, so that the market itself show you exit level. Buying? I won't buy at this valuation. Even best of the best companies need another 3 years to give any meaningful returns when sanity returns.
Disclaimer: I have sold all my stock positions and holding two lots of Nifty 5800 Put current series.
