You can’t attach value to certain things. Most of the so called research reports available are useless. But we rate research news letter published by Nirmal Bang as excellent. Their advices are prudent and timely. Samples are published below.
Over the next fortnight, the Nifty will find its first support at the 4,900 level and the second support at the 4,750 level. On the upper side, it has resistance at the 5,200 level. It will remain range-bound between these levels. Due to selling pressure by FIIs, traders should avoid taking positions on upper levels.
In the banking pack, the stocks of State Bank of India and Axis Bank are looking good. Sectorally speaking, the cement sector is looking weak and is best avoided. However, some individual stocks are looking good at their current levels and can be bought at declines for investment purposes.
Among them are SRF Ltd (LTP: Rs 206.60), Jindal
Saw Ltd (LTP: Rs 801.9), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd(LTP: Rs 822.10), Amara Raja Batteries Ltd (LTP:
Rs 158.15), Castrol India Ltd (LTP: Rs 575.35) andTorrent Power Ltd (LTP: Rs 306.15).

Strong brands in fast-growing niche segments: Zydus Wellness owns strong brands Nutralite (34% of turnover), Sugar Free (39% of turnover) and EverYuth (26% of turnover) that have literal dominance in their fast growing categories. While Nutralite has a market share of 75% in the margarine (a low-cholesterol butter substitute) market, its sales have doubled in the past three years, in line with the trend in the category. Similarly, both Sugar Free, with an 82% market share in the low-calorie sugar substitute space, and EverYuth, with its stronghold in the facial peel off, scrub and face wash categories of speciality skin care products, have grown at a CAGR of 25% over the same period.
At an inflexion point: Given the proliferation of the lifestyle diseases, mainly those related to heart and diabetes, and the increasing awareness regarding health and fitness, Zydus Wellness? product basket has the potential to sustain a high growth in the medium to long term.
Healthy return ratios and free cash flows: Zydus Wellness is a debt-free company with free cash of Rs72 crore on its books. It runs the business on advance collection terms from distributors and customers. This implies minimal working capital blockage and zero bad debt risk. Given the strong internal accruals, the company will not require any equity or debt financing to sustain its organic growth and will be able to pay good dividends on a recurring basis. Like most of the sound FMCG companies, Zydus Wellness has strong return ratios with its RoE and RoCE exceeding 40% and 60% respectively.
Attractive valuations: The stock is trading at 20.4x its FY2010E earnings and 15.7x its FY2011E earnings and appears attractively priced at these valuations, considering the company’s sound business proposition, strong financials and the prospect of sustainable high growth over the next few years.

Pressmart (www.pressmart.com) today announced the launch of a new SaaS, pay-as-you-go hosted Web CMS product ePortal (www.pressmart.com/eportal) to complement its suite of powerful ePublishing solutions.
Pressmart ePortal lets Publishers create and manage their news portals easily for a low monthly fee. Unlike a licensed product, it is an on demand service wherein Publishers simply choose the features they want and pay only for what is used. It offers a robust CMS, Web 2.0 interface, Cloud Hosting, Advanced Archiving, Content Caching, Web & Mobile delivery as well as add-ons such as Social Network, Classifieds, Analytics, Ads and Subscriptions.
"Online publishing is a dynamic space. Things change everyday. To choose the right product, a reliable vendor and to keep pace with new and emerging technologies can be stressful and complicated." Sanjiv Gupta, Founder and CEO of Pressmart, said.
ePortal is designed as a simple and intuitive service. Publishers simply sign up, choose their preferred modules and get started rapidly. Our aim is to ensure our customers remain ahead of the technology curve, with minimum investment." added Sanjiv.
What differentiates Pressmart is that it extends a host of monetization and reporting tools such as Paid Subscriptions, Ad Management, Analytics, and Search Engine Friendly Content to Publishers.
“Pressmart ePortal is built around the Publisher’s strategy. For example, if a Publisher finds 'Video' is en vogue, 'Classifieds' is a money-maker or 'iPhone' is a key delivery channel, they can simply choose the options and voila, in a matter of few hours they are up and running with a news portal." said Navneet Taori, Head of Product Strategy and Business Development, Pressmart.
Publishers simply drag and drop feature they need. There is no upfront cost, no learning curve and zero ROI risk. Navneet adds. For an enterprise to grow it is important to keep the audience engaged with constant innovation and new customer centric features. Our goal is to continuously innovate and develop ePortal into a natural destination for online publishing." Sanjiv added.
One of the early adopters, a beta customer of Pressmart ePortal, Paul Luckman, Publisher and CEO of The Portugal News, the largest English-language Weekly Newspaper in Portugal said “It’s a much-needed, much-awaited service and I highly recommend it to Publishers who believe they are in the business of content and audience development and not Information Technology.”

Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL) announced the completion of its worldwide program to strengthen and reinforce all Suzlon blades of the V2 type on its S88 – 2.1 MW turbine fleet.
Instances of blade cracks were first discovered in late 2007 during the operation of some of Suzlon’s S88 wind turbines in the United States. Suzlon responded immediately and launched a detailed root cause analysis and identification process, followed by extensive testing of the solution and a comprehensive retrofit operation to safeguard and enhance 1,251 (or 417 sets) of S88-V2 blades around the world – a commitment of approximately USD 100 million, already provided in FY2008-09.
Said Mr. Andy Cukurs, Chief Executive Officer of Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation: “We are happy to report the completion of the program in September, 2009. In parallel with strengthening the S88-V2 blades, Suzlon also introduced the next-generation S88-V3, which is consistently delivering and exceeding performance standards at wind farms around the world. Speaking on successful completion of the S88 type certification with the modified blade design, about the testing protocol applied Christian Nath, Vice President - Germanischer Lloyd, said: “Analysis that implies the effect of 3-D loading and design was used for the verification of the modified blade design. Testing beyond the normal scope of IEC 61400-23 was applied to prove the design’s feasibility."

This would lower the yield of all insurance policies maturing after March,2011.

Infosys Technologies Ltd (Infosys) Q2 FY10 result was above its guidance. Infosys reported EPS of Rs.26.83 in Q2 FY10 which was significantly higher than its guidance of Rs23.67-24.09 and also beat the market expectations.
Revenues increased 2.1% QoQ in Rupee terms and 2.9% QoQ in dollar term signalling sign of recovery in the demand.
EBITDA margin improved to 34.6% (+47 bps QoQ) driven by strong performance at the top line. However, net margin declined 33 bps QoQ to 27.6% in Q2 FY10 on account of lower other income which declined 12.3% QoQ during the quarter. Other income declined due to lower interest income on deposits with
banks and other institutions.
At current price of Rs.2211 Infosys is trading at PE multiple of 22.1 for FY10E estimated EPS of Rs.100, which we believe Infosys is fairly valued at current price levels. However, we can see a strong upside going forward if the demand environment recovers significantly and rupee depreciates against the US dollar.

US President Barack Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples" as per the Nobel committee. The first black US President had won his electoral votes last year on the plans of withdrawing US troops from Iraq by 2011 while increasing focus on an eight-year conflict in Afghanistan. Obama is the third sitting US President to be awarded the prize, following Theodore Roosevelt in 1906 and Woodrow Wilson in 1919 and Jimmy Carter in 2002.
We congratulate the Nobel Prize Committee for not choosing Mr.Obama in any other categories. We at investchips, expected the Committee would choose Mr.Obama as winner in multiple categories including Economics, Medicine and Literature for inventing a slogan “we can change” and giving HOPE to everybody that too freely.
We don’t want to hurt the feelings of other really worthy Nobel winners and their family. We strongly believe that Mr. Obama has achieved worthwhile to make him eligible for Golden Raspberry Awards , nothing more.
God Bless the Nobel Peace committee. Long Live Obama.

Our call on Indian telecom companies proved to be correct. Market slaughtered these companies. But today a leaked information may arrest the further fall. Soon we may receive buy calls from analysts. But in short to medium term, we are very negative on Indian telecom players.

Reliance Communications (RCom) today unveiled a new tariff structure CALLED AS “SIMPLY RELIANCE” offering a flat 50 paise per minute tariff for conventional services including local, STD, local SMS, international SMS, incoming roaming and outgoing roaming.
The offer is available over the GSM as well as CDMA platform and covers prepaid as well as postpaid subscribers in all circles( entire India) . The plan is valid for all 24 hours and includes calls made to other networks as well. For prepaid subscribers the plan is available without any additional monthly rental. Existing and new subscribers need to purchase one time special tariff voucher priced at Rs 48 to avail this plan. The voucher is valid for lifetime. For postpaid subscribers, the new tariff is available for monthly subscription fee of Rs.99.
Good scheme for existing reliance pre paid subscribers . But past history of reliance inhibit us to make a switch. Risk takers can buy. We don’t understand the reason why post paid customers should pay a monthly rental of Rs.99.

Because these devices offer a browsing experience that is similar to desktop computers, advertising on smartphones is a natural extension for any AdWords campaign. However, it's not always been easy for advertisers to reach people on smartphones. That's why we're investing in new high-end mobile advertising products such as our search ad options for high-end phones and AdSense for mobile applications. We hope to make advertising on high-end mobile devices as intuitive, effective and user-friendly as our existing AdWords tools.
Today, we're excited to announce a new feature for our AdSense mobile publishers that enables them to serve text and image ads on their sites — specifically on these high-end smartphones. This helps mobile publishers earn revenue and fund more mobile-specific sites and web content.
New features like this help to nurture the smartphone ecosystem by encouraging the creation of more mobile content and by helping advertisers to grow their businesses by reaching new audiences. Our users' experience is also improved, with increasingly relevant and device-optimized mobile ads that load faster and fit better on small screens.

Indian Telecom sector seems to be following the foot steps of India Reality counterparts. Things are moving very fast and all indicators points impending cannibalism. First time in the history of Indian Telecom sector, ARU (Average Revenue per User) falls below Rs.200. Voice services are no longer remunerative. Number portability would put more pressure on profitability on existing players. 3G services may not see the day light in the near future. Raja may not be the King in this time. TRAI may advice all the players to offer “ per second billing” to it’s customers. This alone shave 20% of voice call profitability. This time lobbying may not help one or two companies alone or rescue laggards.
We advice long-term investors to exit Indian Telecom stocks including Bharathi and RCOM. Difficult times ahead.
