On 22.03.2009 , INVESTCHIPS predicted bear onslaught.

Short-term traders can join bears to enjoy the merry time. Nifty trades can short with stop loss.  No investment buying advised in this week.

But due to short covering, manipulation and heavy FII purchase market reached new intra month highs. Intelligent traders shorted the market in the April series. On 28.03.2009, we wrote that “Still we are bearish. Elections going to be a big impediment to any upmove. Trade with stoploss.”

Today ,the markets ended sharply lower, breaking a five-session winning streak. The benchmark indices saw a huge sell-off on the back of weak global cues.

Now judge our predictions.

Withdraw cash from any ATM for free from Apr 1

Nice ATM

Image via Wikipedia

In 2008 Mar RBI issued a guideline limiting the fee charged by banks for using their ATMs by clients of other lenders to Rs 20. It had also allowed the use of ATM for purposes like balance enquiry free of any charge. Giving relief to common man, banks in India from Apr 1 will not charge extra for cash withdrawals using ATM and debit cards issued by other banks. Thanks to an RBI! But banks can charge a fee on services like withdrawing cash using credit cards and at ATMs located outside India.

We missed the rally

INVESTCHIPS didn't anticipate last week rally. We know that there would be a short covering rally and all technical parameters indicates shortterm rally. Still we predicted a crash. What we missed was heavy FII purchase. That was the main reason for the rally. Still we are bearish. Elections going to be a big impediment to any upmove. Trade with stoploss. All our earlier stock picks were appreciated by more than 20 per cent. What a week it was.

  3. Still you can’t change your passwords as the system shows error
  4. Some times the status of your placed orders are   shown as “in process” throughout the day. In that stage you can’t modify or cancel your order and also you will not be knowing the real status of your order. ( a typical Religare Bug – It is the main reason I have changed the broker from religare  to reliance money)
  5. Overall it is a welcome move.

Karur Vysya Bank enables bill pay facility

Rupee

Bill Pay facility is one the most sought after feature by the net savvy customers. Though most of the private sector banks are giving this facility free, some traditional banks like Karur Vysya Bank and Laxmi Vilas Banks are not fast enough to adopt these technological innovations. Of late, KVB enables Bill pay facility for it’s net banking customers with a tie-up with Bill Desk.

Billers list can be accessed here.

Good step forward.
