Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the temporary posts of Senior
Research Fellows (12 nos.) and Data Entry Operators (2 nos.) for the ICAR - NAIP Scheme on “Development of e-Courses for BVSc & AH Degree Programme” implemented at the Department of Animal Husbandry Statistics and Computer Applications, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007. The duration of the posts is one year or upto 31.03.2010, whichever is earlier. The place of posting will be either Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007 or Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal – 637 001.
Essential Qualifications:
M.V.Sc. (in any discipline) with a minimum OGPA of 3.50/4.00 or 8.00/10.00 with working knowledge in computers Or MCA / MSc (Computer Science or IT or any other equivalent specialization in computer field) from a recognized university with First Class or equivalent Or any PG Degree with PGDCA from a recognized university with First Class or equivalentRemuneration : For Veterinary Science Graduates: Rs.14000 / month + HRAPostgraduates other than Veterinary Sciences: Rs.12000 / month + HRAQualified and interested candidates for the above said posts need to apply to the address below in the application format prescribed below on or before 15.04.09. Employed candidates should apply with a No Objection Certificate obtained from the employer. Eligible candidates will need to write an examination followed by an Interview at the Dept. of Animal Husbandry Statistics and Computer Applications, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007 on the date which will be informed later.
No TA/DA will be paid for the candidates preferring to attend written examination and the interview.
Candidates are to make their own arrangements for their travel and stay at Chennai. Mere attending the written examination and interview would not guarantee them the appointment and the selection will be based on merit. Candidates are requested to produce all original certificates (UG/ PG degrees, age proof, experience certificate, publications and any other testimonials that can certify their competency to work in the project) at the
time of examination and interview.
